Wide Gamut Displays Problem
The problem with uncontrolled wide gamut Displays is quite lengthy and complicated subject, however we will abstract it to the minimum here. When a picture taken that contains certain colors, which are located at the edges of the sRGB gamut -as an example- they would look correct and as intended on sRGB gamut Display. However, images usually saved as indexed numbers of the relative locations of each pixel's colors inside 'a' gamut with the assumption that the image will 'always' be displayed on a Display with the same gamut. Therefore, a 'Wide Gamut Display' would show the same image -in our example- with those colors closer to the edges of the Display gamut. Those colors located at the edge of the wide gamut display; do not exist in sRGB color space. Those wide gamut boundaries' colors are also very saturated in compare to the colors located at the boundaries of the sRGB gamut. TetraColors™ core calculates according to the Display and the image gamut, and successfully map the image gamut within the Display's wide gamut to look exactly as intended, instead of indiscriminately show the image with its saved indexed pixel's colors values.
